About the Decorator
Let me tell you about myself a bit. A am a KSU grad with a B.S. in Dietetics and an M.S. in Institutional Management. After practicing many years as a Registered & Licensed Dietitian I decided to try something different, yet related--cake decorating! Thus, over the summer of 2006, I embarked on starting my own business.
I have taken extensive formal training. In addition, I have worked for a year as a cake decorator for a bakery, where my beautiful cake designs, alone, raised total bakery sales by 10%. I even received formal recognition from that company, for my customer service and friendly attitude. Hundreds of cakes I designed at the bakery were not photographed, but I did receive many encouraging thank you notes from customers over that time. I really love to decorate cake for people, to add to their life celebrations!

- Custom-baking, according to YOUR order for unique and delicious flavor
- I strive for perfection in achieving the design my clients want
- All wedding cakes will be delivered and set up personally by the Designer. Reasonable delivery rates for other occasions but time is prioritized for WEDDING CAKES and may not be available for birthdays, showers, etc.
I've tried to make the website very informative, showing pictures of the work which I began on my own on October, 2006. There, you will see that I design cakes for ALL occasions-birthdays, graduations, showers, anniversaries-any special event! A special talent I possess is the creation of beautiful , delicious wedding cakes.
I like to meet with brides (and your fiancee is welcome too!) to get to know you a bit, to talk with you about your plans, and to give you information about what I can do for you as your cake designer. If you have not sampled my delicious cakes, I provide samples at this meeting. This is the FREE initial consultation, and it usually takes only about an hour--there is no obligation, and no charge for this consultation. The consultation, in my home, from which I work, is a time I want you to enjoy--planning & talking about the cake--so don't feel like you have to come with all of your decisions made.
